What You Think Can Affect Your Health
We’ve been told it before. Think positive, don’t be so negative. we’ve known that this is a great habit to get into. Now science & research are verifying just how relevant it is. Researchers are now showing how powerful prayer is for an individual who is fighting disease. Any self improvement guru will always focus on developing your talent to think positively in order to get what you desire in life.
Religions teach prayer and the power of positive thoughts. Why?
Thoughts are things. What this translates to is that every idea and thus every sentiment we have creates a real electric and chemical response in the body. Negative thinking creates negative reactions—causing more inflammation, acid, break down of tissue & fatigue. Positive thoughts create positive reactions—causing release of endorphins, improved digestion, cell repair and healing. We think and sense 24 hours a day 7 days a week! That’s quite a workout for the body.
Do you ever stop to consider about what type of dialogue you have with yourself every single second of the day? If you’re like the majority of individuals, there are more downbeat thoughts than optimistic. How often are you evaluating someone or yourself throughout the day? How disparaging are you of yourself? Most people are their own worst enemies! How often do you feel angry? Frustrated? Worried? Anxious? Fearful? How often do you wonder how much you “hate” this or that? Your body does not know the difference between hating something other than yourself–it just acknowledges the feeling of hate–which resounds though your body. And most of these thoughts happen automatically. Like a silent tape recorder that just keeps looping.
As if this wasn’t sufficient, this tape recorder saves & keeps all experiences inside your hard drive—the subconscious mind. This is the same subconscious mind that is to blame for RUNNING your body! If the body is reacting to many detrimental emotional stores, it not only wastes a lot of energy, increases toxicity & chance for disease processes, but also stops the body from healing.
Positive thoughts & attitudes are key for developing a more harmonious mind, body & spirit into the future. However, understanding & removing your negative ”experiences” from the past is also critical for exponential healing. The regular practice of forgiveness is an important way to forgive and free yourself from the past.
Memories can never be “erased” so forgiveness sanctions us to revise the same experience with thankfulness & gratitude.
There are 4 steps:
Decide to Learn a Positive lesson from the experience
Forgive the person/event
Forgive yourself
Be appreciative & cognicent for the positive lesson and wish the other person well.
The physical body is an expression and response of the events of the past. If you want to create a enduring adjustment in the physical body, adjust the choices you make today. Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique is an energetic & physical healing process which acknowledges the sway of the mind & body. This technique is established to directly prevent high brain interference from expression in the physical body. Once the body is running based on current, updated need, rather than a string of past experience, true healing can and will occur. Dr. Helen Lee a Chicago chiropractic practitioner and healer
